The stunning Alligator Rivers (misnamed in 1818 for its crocodiles) includes parts of Arnhem Land and the Kakadu National Park. The East, West and South Alligator Rivers all flow north, creating one of the richest biological regions in Australia, before reaching Van Diemenβs Gulf and the Timor Sea.
